Data Collection and Maintenance
How do I add sales packaging data?
Click on the "Add new packaging" button and fill in the required fields, e.g., material type, weight, and volume. Then save your entries to record the data.
Can I subsequently change sales packaging data that has already been recorded?
Yes. If packaging data changes (e.g., material, weight, or volume), the information should be updated. However, changes to sales packaging data that has already been recorded are only possible in consultation with the responsible Purchasing department. To do this, use the edit function of the respective data record, provided your user rights permit it.
How can I delete packaging or mark it as "no longer valid"?
Deleting or marking as "no longer valid" is not possible. For changes, please submit a support request using the designated support form.
How do I record multi-part packaging or composite materials?
If packaging consists of several components or materials (e.g., cup, lid, label), the individual components should be recorded separately by material and weight, where possible. This allows material proportions to be evaluated more precisely.
Which units should I use for weight and volume?
Please use uniform units of measurement (e.g., grams for weight and cubic centimeters or milliliters for volume) and remain consistent within your company. Uniform information facilitates comparisons and evaluations.
